Summit Talent Group Initiates Search Vice President Human Resources

San Antonio Regional Hospital (SARH), an acute, full-service medical center in Upland, California, has retained Summit Talent Group to conduct a national executive search for the position of Vice President Human Resources (VPHR). Reporting directly to the to the SARH CEO, the VPHR is a member of the hospital’s Executive Management Group, taking a lead role in facilitating alignment of HR objectives with the hospital strategic plan.

Building on SARH’s long-standing employee culture of service excellence and patient satisfaction, the incumbent will bring to this position a demonstrated track record in talent acquisition and employee retention, highlighted with subject matter experience in the critical core competencies of: workforce & leadership development, talent pipelining, on-boarding, succession planning, and high potential employee programs.

In addition, the VPHR is responsible for the full suite of HR functions to include: performance management, benefit administration, compensation, employee relations, California labor law, HRIS, employee engagement, compliance, workers compensation, and employee health & wellness.

The VPHR will partner with clinical leaders, supporting SAHR’s efforts around physician-hospital organization and the Journey to High Reliability.

The ideal candidate will have an undergraduate degree with a preference of a master’s degree and/or SPHR certification. At least seven years of HR management level experience in an acute care environment in the state of California is required.

As Operations Manager for Summit Talent Group, Kyle is the primary resource for preparing client and candidate interview materials and supports the recruiting team with scheduling, organizing travel, and project management. She manages the office administrative function, including client contracts, proposals, invoicing and billing. Kyle also maintains the public website, manages all of the company’s technology and database tools, and researches innovative applications to ensure efficient recruitment operations. She is a graduate of Howard Community College in Columbia, MD, with an Associate Degree in Business Administration.
