As Vice President of Summit Talent Group, Joann brings more than 30 years of human resources, research and executive search experience to manage the candidate research, development and interview process; further, Joann meets with clients to determine job specification parameters, goals and objectives. Throughout the search engagement, Joann maintains close contact with candidates, assessing their personal and professional career trajectory and motivation for considering new employment endeavors.
Joann, a strong recruitment generalist, has conducted hundreds of search engagements and has developed expertise in a variety of specialty healthcare arenas including revenue cycle, finance, compliance, human resources and medicine.
Prior to Summit Talent Group, Joann worked at the Bon Secours Health System (BSHSI) as an Executive Recruiter of Candidate Research & Sourcing. Earlier in her career, Joann established and managed her own company, Pinnacle Research, which offered research services such as target company mapping, competitive intelligence, market research and prospect lead development. She also held positions in the private sector with Sheppard Pratt and Bendix Advanced Technology Center.
A past president of the Chesapeake Human Resources Association in Maryland and former member of SHRM’s Area II board of directors, Joann remains active in candidate networking events and is passionate about bringing leadership talent to clients.
