Summit Talent Group (“STG”) recognizes the importance of protecting your privacy and takes that obligation seriously by meeting or exceeding privacy regulations promulgated under United States law. This Privacy Statement outlines how Summit Talent Group collects, uses and discloses individually identifiable information (“Personal Information”). By using this Website and/or submitting any Personal Information, you expressly consent to the terms in this Privacy Statement.

Collection of Personal Information

Summit Talent Group is an executive recruitment and interim placement firm and collects a variety of Personal Information necessary to provide such services. We collect various categories of Personal Information on this Website. If you submit an inquiry or question via an online form or email, we may collect your name, email address, or other Personal Information contained in that correspondence. If you are a potential candidate, we may collect your name and contact details, information about your employment objectives, past and current employment and professional experience, educational background, language skills, and other data that you provide online through a form or a resume or CV. If you are a Client or potential Client, we may collect your name, contact details, title or position, products or services requested, or other information that you provide via online forms or email correspondence.

We also may collect Personal Information about you from third parties, such as your references, prior employers, former and current colleagues who recommend that we consider you for a position, public databases and social media platforms.

We do not wish to collect any sensitive information unless legally required for recruitment purposes. Sensitive information includes data relating to race or ethnic origin, political opinions, religious or similar beliefs, trade union membership, physical or mental health, sexual orientation, social security or other government identification numbers, or alleged commission of an offense or related proceedings.

Use of Personal Information

STG uses Personal Information to respond to your inquiries and answer your questions and to undertake activities in connection with the conduct and management of executive recruitment services, such as identifying and evaluating candidate qualifications for potential employment, contacting potential candidates for further Personal Information, recordkeeping in relation to recruitment and hiring, ensuring compliance with legal requirements including diversity and inclusion requirements, contacting named references, and communicating with Clients about potential candidates. We also may use Personal Information for the purposes of testing and maintaining our company databases, networks, and computer systems, and for training and other internal purposes.

Personal Information may also be used anonymously and in the aggregate in order to compile industry, marketing and employment statistics. Used in this matter, Personal Information becomes non-identifying.

Disclosure and Retention of Personal Information

Your Personal Information may be disclosed to STG employees for the purposes described in this Privacy Statement. STG employees who may have access to Personal Information are required to keep that information confidential.  STG endeavors to only use or disclose Personal Information for the primary purpose for which it is collected, being your possible placement by STG into a new employment position.

STG may retain your Personal Information to consider you for other job opportunities. STG will hold your information for as long as is necessary to comply with our contractual obligations and in accordance with our legitimate interests as a data controller.

STG reserves the right to transfer your information to a third party in the event of a sale, merger, liquidation, assignment or transfer of assets.

Security and Integrity of Personal Information

STG maintains reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect the Personal Information it collects from misuse, loss, and unauthorized access, modification or disclosure. In addition, where we disclose Personal Information to Clients, we will request that they properly protect the security and confidentiality of such information, and otherwise process such data in accordance with applicable law. Despite these precautions, we cannot guarantee that unauthorized persons will not obtain access to your personal data, and by submitting any Personal Information, you hereby release Summit Talent Group from any liability for any breach of its security or for the actions of any third parties that may obtain any Personal Information.

STG will not process your Personal Information in a way that is incompatible with what is outlined in this Privacy Statement and will use our best efforts to ensure that data is accurate, complete, current and reliable for its intended use. However, you are under a duty to inform us of changes to your Personal Information to ensure that it is up to date and we will update or delete your Personal Information accordingly.

By submitting Personal Information to STG, you acknowledge that all of your representations are true and correct to the best of your knowledge and belief, and you have not knowingly omitted any related information of an adverse nature. Providing any inaccurate information may make you ineligible for employment.

Access to Personal Information

You may have the right to request access to the personal data that we have collected about you for the purposes of reviewing, modifying, or requesting deletion of the data. You may have the right to request a copy of the personal data we have collected about you and to have any inaccuracies about you corrected. You may also request that we cease processing your personal data, although note that we may need to retain certain personal data where required or permitted to under applicable law.

Users who may want to opt-out of a specific list where they have received information about Summit Talent Group should opt-out directly with the list owner.
