Summit Talent Group Completes Executive Search for Director of Ambulatory Services

April 30, 2018: After a national executive search, Medical University of South Carolina Physicians (MUSCP) has selected Solomon Lin as the new Director of Ambulatory Services. MUSCP (also known as UMA – University Medical Associates) is the faculty practice plan of the Medical University of South Carolina.

Solomon comes to MUSCP from Intermountain Healthcare, where he served as Regional Assistant Operations Officer for the Utah Southwest Region, directing the operations and strategic planning of 15 clinic sites.

Previously, Solomon held progressive positions at University of Utah Health Care. Beginning as a financial manager for their Home Care Division, Solomon spent time managing billing and medical records at the Moran Eye Center, the Clinical Trials Office of the Huntsman Cancer Institute, and the Infectious Diseases, Geriatrics, and Infusion Clinics before being promoted to Service Director of Medicine and Specialty Clinics. As Service Director, Solomon directed 12 hospital-based specialty clinic sites. He was also Service Director over the Greenwood and Parkway Health Centers, two multi-specialty community health centers with over 100,000 patient visits per year.

Solomon’s early career was as administrator and business office manager at several long- term, skilled nursing facilities. Solomon earned a Master of Health Administration from the University of Southern California and a Bachelor of Science in Administrative Studies from the University of California at Riverside.
