University Hospitals (UH) has retained Summit Talent Group to conduct a national search for the position of UH Ahuja Medical Center Chief Nursing Officer. Reporting to Chief Nursing Officer, East and West Market who reports to the Chief Nurse Executive, UH. There is a dotted line reporting relationship with the COO of the hospital. The Executive Committee of Ahuja Medical Center is a triad model to include the Chief Nursing Officer, the Chief Operating Officer, and the Chief Medical Officer –supporting and promoting the mission & vision of UH and “The Ahuja Way” of patient-centered care.
Opened in 2011 and undergoing a $236M expansion to be completed this summer, UH Ahuja Medical Center is a CMS five star rated Hospital in Beachwood, OH, situated on a 53-acre campus is designed to be one of the safest and technologically advanced hospitals in the country. Built on a calm, park-like campus that includes gardens and walkways, this Beachwood medical center provides exceptional care to residents. UH Ahuja Medical Center and associated outpatient locations, will provide a range of adult medical and surgical services including advanced minimally invasive surgery, orthopedic surgery, neuro, cancer and cardiovascular services; adult and pediatric outpatient services; emergency department services; and other services and physician practices.
Critical to success in this role is the ability to adroitly manage daily nursing operations of a high volume, active medical center in concurrence with the on-going construction expansion. In unison with leading nursing operations, addressing priorities, and championing culture, the incumbent embraces staff and community stakeholder with leadership, gravitas and genuineness.
