Distinguished Chief Executive & Board Member Expertise

Victor A. Broccolino, former president and CEO of Howard County General Hospital: A Member of Johns Hopkins Medicine, serves as Chief Business Development Consultant for Summit Talent Group. A well-regarded and highly respected member of the Maryland health care community, Vic’s reputation for integrity, network of professional contacts, and hands on experience as a health care executive, board member and community leader brings value to clients in the executive talent management arena.

As the Chief Business Development Consultant, Vic will not only be working on selected executive search assignments, but also focused on business development activities, availing his extensive network and relationships in the health care field.

Vic has over 47 years of experience in the health care industry, and during his 24 years of leadership of Howard County General Hospital, the hospital experienced significant change and growth, including its acquisition by Johns Hopkins Medicine, the completion of several major facility projects and the addition or expansion of numerous services and programs. These enhancements resulted in national and regional recognition of the hospital’s exceptional care and service. Prior to his tenure at Howard County General Hospital, Vic served as the Chief Executive Officer of Bon Secours Baltimore Health Corporation from 1986 to 1989. He started working at Bon Secours Hospital in 1972 and held several positions to include comptroller and director of fiscal services and chief operating officer, prior to being named CEO.

An active member of the community, Vic has served on and chaired numerous boards and committees of not-for-profit and community and professional organizations. Currently, among these many activities, he is vice chair of the Maryland State Emergency Medical Services board and, working with The Columbia Association, he is chairman of the City of Columbia’s 50th Anniversary Celebration Committee as well as being active in many other organizations.

In July of 2016, Summit Talent Group was acquired by The Innovation Institute and FutureSense, becoming a member of its Enterprise Development Group (EDG) portfolio of health care service companies, adding depth to their offering of end-to-end people strategy and organization solutions.
