Summit Talent Group’s Vic Sonnino, MD recognized as Lead Stroke Surveyor for DNV-GL

Det Norske Veritas Healthcare, Inc (DNV-GL) has recently elevated Victor Sonnino, MD, MBA to the role of Lead Stroke Surveyor.

DNV-GL is a world-leading certification body, that works with companies to guarantee the performance of their organizations, products, people, facilities and supply chains through certification, verification, assessment and training. DNV GL executes surveys and accredits health care organizations in the United States and abroad, carrying out both general surveys as well as assessing specialty areas such as stroke care. In addition to providing deemed CMS accreditation, the scope of these surveys is to ascertain quality and safety, ensuring that patient care units perform their work in accordance with governing quality requirements and procedures.

As Lead Stroke Surveyor for DNV-GL, Dr. Sonnino leads teams that survey both Primary and Comprehensive Stroke Centers that seek certification or recertification, utilizing skills acquired both in his clinical Neurosurgical, career as well as in his administrative experience as a Chief Medical Officer in large healthcare organizations.

Dr. Sonnino is both a board-certified neurosurgeon as well as a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons. He acts as Summit Talent Group’s Chief Medical Executive Consultant. Sonnino has over 20 years of experience as a neurosurgeon and diversified into management after earning his graduate degree in Business Administration.

Dr. Sonnino is praised for his capacity in developing and managing long standing relationships with all areas of a hospital’s staff including the management team, medical staff, board of directors, and the community. It is no doubt that he will excel in his new role as the new Lead Stroke Surveyor for DNV-GL.

As Operations Manager for Summit Talent Group, Kyle is the primary resource for preparing client and candidate interview materials and supports the recruiting team with scheduling, organizing travel, and project management. She manages the office administrative function, including client contracts, proposals, invoicing and billing. Kyle also maintains the public website, manages all of the company’s technology and database tools, and researches innovative applications to ensure efficient recruitment operations. She is a graduate of Howard Community College in Columbia, MD, with an Associate Degree in Business Administration.
