Valley Presbyterian Hospital Hires Keith Stanhill as Vice President, Human Resources

September 30, 2019 – Following an extensive, nationwide search conducted by retained, executive search firm Summit Talent Group, Valley Presbyterian Hospital in Van Nuys, CA has named Keith Stanhill as Vice President, Human Resources.

Valley Presbyterian Hospital is one of the largest and most prestigious full-service acute care facilities in the San Fernando Valley. In 2017, the 350-bed facility was recognized by LA County as one of only three designated Pediatric Medical Centers in the Valley. A community-centered facility, Valley Presbyterian Hospital has been voted “Best Hospital” 13 years in a row by the readers of Los Angeles Daily News.

Stanhill will join the 60-year old independent facility as a member of its executive team, where he will make a difference every day, serving employees, patients, families, and the community.

A Human Resources expert, Stanhill comes to Valley Presbyterian Hospital from Tenet Healthcare where he spent the last six years as Chief Human Resources Officer of Saint Francis Hospital – Memphis Market, taking a short break in 2015 to fulfill the same role at Twin Cities Community Hospital in Templeton, CA. Prior to his work at Tenet, Stanhill worked for Bon Secours St. Petersburg Health System as Director of Human Resources, where he became an expert in talent acquisition, retention, organizational development, succession planning, performance management, and total compensation.

Stanhill earned his bachelor’s degree in international relations from California State University Long Beach, and he is currently enrolled in a master’s program at Golden Gate University in San Francisco.
