About E&A Therapy
For 20 years, Jeff Ostrowski, PT and Joe Ruhl, PT ran Excel Physical Therapy. From humble beginnings in small offices in 2 gyms, it grew to 12 clinics. The growth was due to a vision of a customer service oriented, hands-on treatment approach. The 12 clinics were in and surrounding the city of Philadelphia.
For 10 years, Kamala Bongiorno, PT and Todd Logic, PT, ATC ran Apex Physical Therapy. Kam and Todd’s systematic approach and vision of a customer service oriented, hands-on treatment approach created 8 clincs in the Northwestern and western suburbs of Philadelphia.
In 2011, Excel Physical Therapy and Apex Physical Therapy merged, forming the largest physical therapist owned practice in the Philadelphia Region. This merger happened because of the shared vision of how Physical Therapy should be provided. The strengths of both practices were adopted and a new practice was formed. The corporate identity is E&A Therapy, but you will not find any therapy clinics with that name. We’ve maintained the brand names of Apex and Excel Physical Therapy because those are the names that patients and physicians have come to trust. Your confidence in us is important. You can expect to receive the same quality therapy in all E&A clinics.
Since the merger, E&A has grown! In 2013, E&A purchased MainLine Hand Center. Today, there are 31 clinics in the Philadelphia area and E&A is not done growing. Emmaus and Kennett Square opened in December, 2016. Bala Cynwyd and Levittown opened in 2017. Havertown opened in March 2018 and a clinic in the Philadelphia Business District opened in June of 2018.
