Carolyn supports Summit Talent Group throughout the entire cycle of the candidate search process. She contributes in selective job industry and candidate research and transfers learned knowledge to the rest of the staff. Carolyn is responsible for creating, editing, and maintaining the documents for clients, candidates, and Summit Talent Group. Taking a support role administratively, she monitors office inventory and distributes materials to staff members. Carolyn graduated from the University of Maryland Baltimore County (UMBC) with a Bachelor of Arts in economics.

Sophie Kaplan joined Summit Talent Group (STG) in 2020 and serves an Associate/Researcher based in Chicago, Illinois.

Sophie devotes time to both original candidate research and recruitment activities, interfacing with candidates from across the country. Prior to joining STG, Sophie worked at the world’s largest executive search firm and executed healthcare engagements for hospitals, integrated health systems, managed care organizations, physician groups, academic medical centers, professional associations, and healthcare technology companies.

Sophie is a graduate of Washington University in St. Louis with a Bachelor of Arts in Psychological & Brain Sciences and Spanish. She is an executive member of the Associate Board of the Shirley Ryan AbilityLab, the nation’s #1-ranked provider of comprehensive physical medicine and rehabilitation care.

 

 


Lexie Rankin, Senior Lead Generation Specialist/Researcher

Lexie provides support to executive recruiters and other team members with targeted research on candidate resumes, industry trends, client company industries, and competitive intelligence data utilizing the internet and proprietary systems. Lexie is a graduate of Frostburg University, Frostburg, MD, with a bachelor’s degree in business administration, concentrating in human resource management.

Jackie dedicates her full-time energies to candidate research and development; she is responsible for identifying and networking with leaders within leading organizations as well as gauging their interest in career opportunities to Summit Talent Group clients. Jackie also interviews candidates for specific client engagements. Jackie earned a master’s in art education and a bachelor’s in fine arts in interior design from Texas Tech University, Lubbock, TX.

Kyle Wortman, Technology Manager

Kyle currently supports Summit Talent Group through management of IT resources, database maintenance and deduplication, and accounts payable and receivable. As one of the earliest employees of Summit Talent Group, Kyle has held multiple roles in the company. As Technology Coordinator, she researched and implemented new technology, including a more efficient document collaboration solution and migrated the company to a new CRM platform. As Operations Manager, Kyle was responsible for scheduling, organizing travel, and project management, as well as writing client contracts and responding to RFPs.

Kyle’s background is in payroll, back office operations, event planning, and customer service in a variety of retail environments. Kyle graduated from Howard Community College with an Associate’s in Business Administration.
