Ed Cleary comes to Valley Health System in Winchester, VA after serving as the Director of Training and Leadership Development for MaineHealth. Ed has over 20 years of experience in training, integrated learning support, technology and continuous learning. Ed earned a Master of Science in Adult Education from the University of Southern Maine and a Bachelor of Science from Palm Beach Atlantic University.

  • Jason Clapsaddle – Chief Ambulatory Officer, Regional Networks at Medical University of South Carolina in Charleston, SC

Jason Clapsaddle was previously the Vice President, Physician Network Operations at Atrium Health (formerly Carolinas HealthCare System) based in Charlotte, North Carolina. Previously, he had served as the Vice President, Blue Ridge Medical Group for Atrium. Clapsaddle had also held the position of Vice President and Chief Operating Officer, Regional Hospital Group for Mission Health & Hospitals (a part of HCA). He has been providing operations and financial leadership for over 20 years. Clapsaddle earned his Master of Healthcare Administration (MHA) from University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill and a Bachelor of Science in Management Accounting from University of North Carolina.

  • Kevin Sheppard – Vice President of Operations and Clinical Services at Valley Health System in Winchester, VA

Kevin Sheppard is placed as Vice President of Operations and Clinical Services after serving as an Operations Consultant at Valley health System. Previously, Sheppard served as Interim President at Bon Secours Mercy Health St. Mary’s Hospital and Vice President, Integration. Sheppard has over 20 years of healthcare operations and finance experience. Kevin received his bachelor’s degree in accounting from the University of Alabama and an MHA from the University of Minnesota.

  •  Steve Martel, MD – Associate Chief Health Information Officer at Children’s Hospital of Orange County in Orange, CA

Steve Martel comes to Children’s Hospital of Orange County in Orange, CA after serving as the Chief Medical Information Officer and Neonatal & Pediatric Hospitalist at Central Maine Healthcare. Dr. Martel has 20+ years of healthcare leadership experience in the ambulatory and acute care settings. Martel attended medical school at the University of Vermont in Burlington and completed his Pediatric Internship & Residency at UCSF Medical Center (now UCSF Benioff Children’s Hospital).

  •  Michelle Hereford – System Chief Nurse Executive at University Hospitals in Cleveland, OH

Michelle Hereford joins University Hospitals in Cleveland, OH from AMITA Health after serving as the SVP, System Chief Nursing Officer/Post-Acute Care Officer and the SVP, Regional Operating/Post-Acute Care Officer. With over 20+ years of expertise developing and leading operational improvements in non-profit, investor-owned, academic and faith-based healthcare organizations. A graduate of Virginia Commonwealth University, Hereford earned her MHA in 2002 and BSN in 1998.

  •  Cedric Wilson – Executive Director Imaging & Diagnostics Services at Stanford Children’s Health │Lucile Packard Children’s Hospital Stanford – Stanford in Palo Alto, CA

Cedric Wilson comes to Stanford Children’s Health | Lucile Packard Children’s Hospital Stanford in Palo Alto, CA after serving as the Regional Director of Imaging Services, Kaiser Foundation Health Plan, Mid-Atlantic for Kaiser Permanente. Wilson earned his Associate of Science in Radiologic Technology (RT) from the Community College of the Air Force, his bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Administration from the University of Phoenix and received his MBA from St. Mary’s College of California. He also received his ARRT (R)(MR) and CRT (R)(F) certifications.

  • Lindsey Ryan – Director Cardiothoracic Intensive Care Unit (CTICU) – Rady Children’s Hospital – San Diego in San Diego, CA

Lindsey Ryan joins Rady Children’s Hospital – San Diego after serving as the Manager of Medical Intensive Care Unit & Vascular Access at Sharp Grossmont Hospital. Ryan has worked in healthcare for over 15 years, working for Sharp HealthCare and VA San Diego Healthcare System. She earned her PhD in Nursing from the University of San Diego and her MSN and BSN from Point Loma Nazarene University.

  • Robert Jacobs – Director of Laboratory Services (Lorain Market) at Bon Secours Mercy Health in Cincinnati, OH

Robert Jacobs is placed as the Director of Laboratory Services (Lorain Market) at Bon Secours Mercy Health in Cincinnati, OH after serving as the Executive Director of Laboratory Services for Aultman Hospital. Jacobs has spent over 15 years in health care working for Aultman Orville Hospital, Pomerene Hospital, Lifeline Screening of America and Doctors Hospital of Stark County. He earned a master’s degree in Health Services Administration from the University of St. Francis and a bachelor’s degree in Medical Laboratory Sciences from the University of Illinois at Chicago.

Stephen Hunt comes to Novant Health UVA Health System in Manassas, VA as the System Director of Radiology after serving as the Director of Diagnostic Imaging at Inova Fair Oaks Hospital where he spent the last 10 years of his career. Hunt earned a master’s degree in healthcare Administration (MHA) from Ohio University and a bachelor’s degree in Business Management from Western Governors University. Hunt is also a Registered Technologist.

  • Linzie Dame and Tricia Cohn – Managers of Specialty Clinics at Children’s Hospital of Orange County in Orange, CA

Linzie Dame joins the Children’s Hospital of Orange County in Orange, CA as Manager of Specialty Clinics from Kaiser Permanente – Downey Medical Center where she served as the Department Administrator – Neuro Interventional & Vascular Interventional Radiology. Previously, Linzie Dame had served as the Assistant Clinical Director – Emergency Department and as Registered Nurse for Downey Medical Center. Dame spent her early career as a Registered Nurse at Dignity Health at Celerion Inc. She earned a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from Arizona State University in 2009 and went on to earn her BSN in 2011 from Grand Canyon University.

Tricia Cohn joins the Children’s Hospital of Orange County in Orange, CA as Manager of Specialty Clinics from Pomona Valley Hospital Medical Center where she served as the Children’s Outpatient Center Clinical Supervisor/High Risk Infant Follow-up Program Coordinator. Previously, Cohn served as a Neonatal Intensive Care Unit Clinical Supervisor, Transport Supervisor, and a Neonatal Intensive Care Clinical/Transport Nurse at Pomona Valley Hospital Medical Center. She earned a BSN from California State University in Fullerton, CA.

  • Amy Sabado – Clinical Nurse Director Perioperative (Memorial Central Hospital) at UCHealth southern Colorado Region in Colorado Springs, CO

Amy Sabado is placed as the Clinical Nurse Director Perioperative (Memorial Center Hospital) at UCHealth Southern Colorado Region in Colorado Springs, CO after serving as the Clinical Manager of Perioperative Services at Providence St. Peter Hospital in Olympia, WA. Jennifer Coello joins Valley Health System as Vice President, Administrator Warren Memorial Hospital. Jennifer comes to Valley Health after most recently serving as Chief Operating Officer for Ohio Valley Medical Center in WV and as an Administrator for East Ohio Regional Hospital in OH. Coello is a graduate of the University of Virginia with a BA in psychology and a Master of Health Administration from Virginia Commonwealth University.

Karen Buck joins Hartford Healthcare as Regional Director, Perioperative Services. Buck most recently served as the Interim Vice President Perioperative Services at Wyoming Medical Center and Associate Chief Nursing Officer, Lawrence + Memorial Hospital and Pequot Surgery Center at Yale New Haven Health. Karen is a graduate of Excelsior College in Albany, NY where she earned her BSN in 2010 and MSN in 2012.

  • Gwen Chambers – Human Resources Strategic Partner at Bon Secours Mercy Health in Cincinnati, OH

Gwen Chambers is placed at Bon Secours Mercy Health in Cincinnati, OH as Human Resources Strategic Partner. Chambers most recently served as Interim Vice President of Valley Presbyterian Hospital and Executive Director, Human Resources at Methodist Hospital of Southern California. A graduate of University of Redlands in CA, Gwen earned her bachelor’s degree in Business and Management.
