The new Vice President, Chief Accounting Officer – Controller for SCL Health will report to the Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer. The newly placed healthcare financial leader will provide strategic direction for SCL Health in the areas of internal and external consolidated financial reporting; grant accounting and reporting; and financial systems and accounting policies, procedures and internal controls. This new role is responsible for providing financial leadership for SCL Health tax matters, insurance captive operations, payroll, joint venture partnerships, and foundations. The CAO has direct responsibility for System Accounting and Reporting, Hospital Accounting, and Net Revenue and Reimbursement.
