Summit Talent Group Initiates Regional Director E&A Therapy Executive Search

E&A Therapy (E&A) has retained Summit Talent Group to conduct an executive search for the newly created position of Regional Director (RD), reporting to the Chief Executive Officer (CEO).

Regional Director E&A Therapy

With more than 30 clinics across Southeastern PA and NJ, E&A continues to grow across the region, employing more than 230 staff of which 135 are physical therapists (PTs). Treating 1,120 patients per day on average, the profession of physical therapy can be best described as a “calling,” and this fundamental tenet is embedded in the culture and operating practices of E&A.

To accommodate E&A’s positioning to double in size in the next five years through continued same-store growth, new clinic openings and acquisitions, E&A’s Board of Directors has implemented a strategy to segment the clinics into four territories, each led by an RD, fluent in recognizing performance variances, implementing action plans, and communicating successes.

The incumbent will bring to the position a set of well-developed leadership competencies: leading teams through skilled facilitation; influencing business outcomes; preserving cultural integrity; analyzing data; identifying financial trends; minimizing risk; executing business development activities; and building community and referral relationships.

Embracing a proven treatment care model that allows for the PT to attend to fewer patients each day with greater personalized service, the RD will build upon E&A’s legacy and reputation for quality outcomes. The incumbent will have a keen focus on operational analytics and talent management, culminating in the value proposition of consistent patient satisfaction and a healthy bottom line.

The ideal candidate will have earned a bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university; master’s degree preferred. A minimum of two years progressive sales, business development, and/or marketing experience with at least one-year managing field operations. Highly valued are individuals that travel between multi-site healthcare environments such as ambulatory operations, physician enterprise, physical therapy and/or outpatient clinics.
