About The Search

The newly assigned President Critical Access Hospitals for Valley Health’s War Memorial Hospital and Hampshire Memorial Hospital will be an integral part of the leadership team and will report directly to the President and CEO of Valley Health System and work with the combined Board of Trustees for War Memorial Hospital and Hampshire Memorial Hospital.

Because the position involves being a part of Valley Health’s senior management team and market development team, and being responsible for enterprise strategy and execution, it was imperative that the candidates presented have more than just the right qualifications. Each candidate must have the right temperament in order to thrive in a demanding and high-stress environment.

Because one of the aspects of the position is to build partnerships with both medical staff and clinical providers, it was of particular importance to find individuals adroit at collaboration, communication, and team leadership. These same skills should allow these candidates to strengthen relationships to encourage growth and improve financial and clinical outcomes.

The candidates for President needed to have strong analytical skills to allow them to focus on physician recruitment, integration, and retention. It was necessary that he or she be able to observe the team to identify the issues and needs of that community and to address the needs and issues they may have via the planning, development, and improvement of hospital services and programs.

As Operations Manager for Summit Talent Group, Kyle is the primary resource for preparing client and candidate interview materials and supports the recruiting team with scheduling, organizing travel, and project management.
