Summit Talent Group Completes Operating Room Manager Search
July 10, 2017: After conducting a national search, Summit Talent Group has completed the Nurse Manager Operating Room search for Children’s Hospital of Orange County (CHOC) with the placement of Dragana (Dee) Bukorovic, BSN, RN, CNOR
Dee comes to CHOC from the University of Illinois Hospital & Health Sciences System (UI Health) in Chicago, Illinois, where she has most recently held the position of Administrative Nurse III, responsible for six surgical services: transplant, cardiothoracic, vascular, oncology, plastic and oral surgery. UI Health consists of a 495-bed hospital, 22 ambulatory clinics, 13 Federally Qualified Health Centers, and seven health science colleges. Dee has been a speaker at multiple Perioperative Retreats for UI Health, and in 2015 she won the Pinnacle Leader Award.
Previously, Dee worked as a Staff Nurse at Northwestern Memorial Hospital in Chicago, IL, St. Mary Medical Center in Hobart, IN, and St. Catherine Hospital in East Chicago, IN, where she gained experience in orthopedics, general surgery, and labor and delivery.
Dee earned a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Indiana University Northwest and a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from Indiana University. She is also a Certified Nurse Operating Room (CNOR).
