Maryland Primary Care Physicians Welcomes New CEO Kelly Cavallio
October 2024 -Summit Talent Group is proud to announce the successful placement of Kelly Cavallio as the new Chief Executive Officer of Maryland Primary Care Physicians (MPCP), the state’s largest network of family doctors. MPCP operates 10 medical practices across Anne Arundel, Howard, Prince George’s, and Queen Anne’s counties, with a team of over 70 board-certified providers, including physicians, physician assistants, and nurse practitioners in family practice, internal medicine, geriatrics, and cardiology. Their efforts are supported by more than 280 clinical and business staff, bringing the total workforce to over 350 employees.
Kelly Cavallio joins MPCP after 25 years at The Johns Hopkins Health System, where she most recently served as Senior Administrator, Pathology and Lab Medicine at The Johns Hopkins Hospital. Throughout her career, Kelly has mastered hospital operations and patient care while excelling in quality, safety, staffing, and process improvement. Her leadership has driven significant improvements in both operational savings and patient satisfaction.
Kelly holds a BA in Politics and English from New York University and an MBA in Health Administration from The Johns Hopkins University Carey School of Business.
