Summit Talent Group has been retained to conduct an executive search for the next Vice President of Sales of a Cincinnati-based healthcare staffing provider, to support their expanding client network.
The Vice President of Sales is an executive leader with impeccable problem-solving skills to lead a team of experienced sales professionals. Pivotal to this role are excellent communication and presentation skills, executive presence, a knack for anticipating complications that may arise, and an ability to build strong relationships.
The VP of Sales leads the regional sales team, converses with health care executive leaders, and is the key figure in guiding presentations integral to closing deals.
The ideal candidate will be receptive to learning the models and pitch, able to adapt to the culture and style needed to represent the company to clients, and able to travel as needed to client sites for executive presentations. The VP will need to be able to present solutions to clients based upon current company offerings, adapt to challenges presented by clients, and provide insight on new products that should be targeted for development. A forward-thinking approach with an understanding of the current and future markets of health care is critical to this role.
