Manager, Provider Enrollment – University Hospitals Retained Search

University Hospitals (UH) has retained Summit Talent Group to conduct a national search for a Manager Provider Enrollment. A nationally recognized health system with 18 hospitals and a clinical network of approximately 5400 providers, University Hospitals is the largest network of Hospitals, Doctors & Surgeons in Cleveland & Northeast Ohio.

Reporting to the System Director Medical Staff Services, Credentialing, & Provider Enrollment, the Manager, Provider Enrollment is responsible for assigned functions and oversight of the daily operations of UH Corporate Provider Enrollment functions. This position provides leadership and support for the Provider Enrollment Team of seven FTE’s, managing all aspects of employee engagement and performance, and audits quality of work to ensure proper accountability, assignments, and completion of work tasks timely in accordance with established goals and metrics. This position is a member of the departmental leadership team and is responsible for maintaining and developing collaborative relationships with practitioners and other administrative leaders.

Essential duties include managing the timely and accurate provider systems enrollment processes for employed and contracted practitioners, including initial enrollment, re-enrollment, re-validations, terminations, changes and updates to provider and/or payor records; facilitating overall standardization, integration and operational continuity in collaboration with UH leadership; and coordinating development of system-wide policies and procedures, action plans, workflows, and audit reports related to Provider Enrollment.

A Bachelor’s degree and Certified Professional Medical Services Management (CPMSM) OR Certified Provider Credentialing Specialist (CPCS) are required for this role.
