Manager, Medical Staff Services And Credentialing – University Hospitals Retained Search

University Hospitals (UH) has retained Summit Talent Group to conduct a national search for a Manager, Medical Staff Services and Credentialing. A nationally recognized health system with 18 hospitals and a clinical network of approximately 5400 providers, University Hospitals is the largest network of Hospitals, Doctors & Surgeons in Cleveland & Northeast Ohio.

UH is moving to a CVO model and this critical role provides leadership and support for four direct reports and approximately 30 FTE’s, ensuring accountability, assignments, and timely completion of work tasks in accordance with established goals and metrics. Reporting to the System Director Medical Staff Services, Credentialing and Provider Enrollment, the Manager is a member of the departmental leadership team and is responsible for maintaining and developing collaborative relationships with practitioners and other administrative leaders.

Essential duties include managing the day-to-day work of the system-wide Medical Staff Services and Credentialing and Provider Enrollment teams; managing department budget and resources; and recruiting, developing, and retaining staff.

A Bachelor’s degree and Certified Professional Medical Services Management (CPMSM) OR Certified Provider Credentialing Specialist (CPCS) are required for this role.
