Summit Talent Group Completes Search for Executive Director, Operations

November 1, 2017: After a national search, Howard University Hospital has selected Dr. Jeronica Goodwin as the new Executive Director Operations.

Jeronica has been with Howard University Hospital since 2016, when she joined as Senior Director of Human Resources. She has also been serving as Interim Associate Administrator during the search engagement.

Jeronica’s Human Resources career spans twenty years, including serving as Vice President of Human Resources at Dimock Community Health Center in Roxbury, MA; Director of Human Resources, Patient Relations and Volunteer Services at Ascension Providence Hospital in Washington, DC; Director of Employee Relations at Johns Hopkins Suburban Hospital in Bethesda, MD; all built on an early progressive career at WakeMed Health & Hospitals in Raleigh, NC.

Jeronica earned a Doctor of Health Administration and a Master of Science in HR Administration from Central Michigan University, and a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Saint Augustine’s University in Raleigh, NC.

Additionally, Jeronica has served as an Adjunct Professor at both the University of Maryland University College and Cambridge College. She is currently an Executive Board Member of the National Association of Health Services Executives (NAHSE) Washington Metropolitan Chapter. Previously, Jeronica was Board Member and Director of Educational Programs for My Girlfriend’s House, a non-profit organization for women to help at-risk young ladies in the DC, MD, and VA regions.

Kyle also maintains the public website, manages all of the company’s technology and database tools, and researches innovative applications to ensure efficient recruitment operations. She is a graduate of Howard Community College in Columbia, MD, with an Associate Degree in Business Administration.
