Senior Level Healthcare Financial Executive – Dan Macksood

As Chief Financial Consultant – Interim Services for Summit Talent Group, Dan Macksood brings more than 30 years of healthcare financial executive experience from health systems across the country. Dan has worked for some of the largest national and regional health systems and hospitals, leading the financial services function in both operational and strategic capacities.

Dan’s core competencies include performance improvement, sustained turnaround, revenue cycle operations and skillfully building and developing teams during periods of transition and cultural integration. He brings a refined expertise in navigating complex organizations and partnering with the associated governance structures. Dan is known for his focused work ethic and genuine people interactions.

Prior to joining Summit Talent Group, Dan’s career spanned faith-based, non-profit and academic systems, including Ascension Health, Catholic Health Services of Long Island, MedStar Health, and Duke Medicine.

Dan is based in the Mid-Atlantic region and travels weekly to client sites for engagements.

In July of 2016, Summit Talent Group was acquired by The Innovation Institute and FutureSense, becoming a member of its Enterprise Development Group (EDG) portfolio of health care service companies, adding depth to their offering of end-to-end people strategy and organization solutions.

As Operations Manager for Summit Talent Group, Kyle is the primary resource for preparing client and candidate interview materials and supports the recruiting team with scheduling, organizing travel, and project management. She manages the office administrative function, including client contracts, proposals, invoicing and billing. Kyle also maintains the public website, manages all of the company’s technology and database tools, and researches innovative applications to ensure efficient recruitment operations. She is a graduate of Howard Community College in Columbia, MD, with an Associate Degree in Business Administration.
