Summit Talent Group Completes Search for Chief Executive Officer

November 15, 2017: After a national executive search, E&A Therapy has selected Kristin Mullen as the new Chief Executive Officer. E&A Therapy consists of more than 28 physical therapy clinics across Southeastern Pennsylvania and New Jersey, the result of the merger between Excel Physical Therapy and Apex Physical Therapy, two practices in the Philadelphia area owned and operated by physical therapists.

Kris is joining E&A from the Cancer Treatment Centers of America at Eastern Regional Medical Center (ERMC) in Philadelphia, PA, where she has been since 2009, most recently as Chief Operating Officer and previously as Senior Vice President of Operations and Vice President of Clinical Support Services. Cancer Treatment Centers of America (CTCA) is a nationwide cancer treatment enterprise with five centers providing an integrated care model to patients. Kris provided executive leadership focusing on delivering an optimal standard of care at the most efficient cost; strengthening the CTCA reputation, and removing barriers to patient access. ERMC received Best Places to Work designations from 2012-2017 and is a recipient of the Health Grades Outstanding Patient Experience Award, ranking among the top 5% of hospitals in the nation for outstanding patient experience.

Prior to her time at CTCA, Kris held progressive positions at Abbott Northwestern Hospital in Minneapolis, MN, serving as Director of Operations, Radiology, and Campus Support Services throughout her time there. Kris’ early career was as a social worker at a nursing home.

Kris earned a Master of Healthcare Administration from the University of Minnesota and a Bachelor of Arts in Social Work & Sociology from the University of Wisconsin. Kris remains active as an alumna of the University of Minnesota.
