After a national executive search, Medical University of South Carolina Physicians (MUSCP) has selected Eva Greenwood as the new Chief Financial Officer.
Eva comes to MUSCP from Boston University and Boston Medical Center, where she currently holds the position of Vice Chair of Finance and Administration for the Department of Medicine. She has also served as Director of Finance for the Faculty Practice Foundation. As Vice Chair, she turned the department’s financial performance around from operating loss to profit for four consecutive years; increased physician productivity and clinical revenue; and restructured the central vs divisional administration functions. As Director, Eva improved operational and administrative functions of the professional bulling processes, including developing an annual funds flow methodology and deploying new analytic models to measure physician productivity, compensation, time and effort allocation.
Prior to her time at Boston University, Eva was Director of Operations Administration at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center, where she managed the transition of outsourced support services including Food Services, Housekeeping, Patient Transport, and the Service Call Center, an also implemented Quality Audit Programs including benchmarking, trending, mystery shoppers and customer surveys to identify opportunities for operational improvement. Previously, Eva held expanding roles and responsibilities at Harvard Pilgrim Healthcare for 15 years, including Program Director for Information Technology & Customer Service; Director of Provider Payment Strategy; Finance Manager for Emerging Markets and Senior Financial and Utilization Analyst.
Eva earned a Master of Business Administration in Finance and Management Information Systems from the State University of New York at Buffalo and a Bachelor of Economics from Chung-Hsing University in Taipei, Taiwan. She also has a Project Management Professional Certificate and a Six Sigma Green Belt.

Kyle also maintains the public website, manages all of the company’s technology and database tools, and researches innovative applications to ensure efficient recruitment operations. She is a graduate of Howard Community College in Columbia, MD, with an Associate Degree in Business Administration.
